Hello, I run an established day centre in Radford and I suppose I am one of the founders of this mental capacity act forum. As one of the early members , I would like to express my delight at how the forum is moving now.  This new 'blog' will enable us to share our concerns, ideas and solutions together and as I am a non -professional in the sense that I do not work directly in the field of mental capacity I feel there will be a lot for me to learn about the linking of services to gain the best possible results for the client.  We will learn a lot today from the public guardian CEO Martin John and I hope this will encourage us to use this 'link up' to follow through with ideas and that Martin will dip in now and again to see how we are faring.  Because of the recent changes within adult services and so many moving offices it has been difficult to make sure everyone gets to hear about us so please pass on this link to people.  I suggest that we have our previous minutes put on the message board and relevant up to date information.  I look forward to getting to know you all and working together.  Jill Davies CEO for Radford Care Group
