Does anyone have any experience of mobile homes and financial assessments?  I need to know whether a mobile home is classed as a dwelling or a chattel and whether a mobile home is considered in a financial assessment when someone moves into a care home.  Can Social Services take out a loan against a mobile home whilst it is being sold to fund a person's care home etc? The mobile home is the full time residence of the person and is not a holiday home.
